Join us in the Cincinnati Public Library’s atrium on Tuesday, May 13th at 7pm, for the Spring 2025 edition of Cincinnati, From Scratch.

At this event, you’ll hear the world premieres of five works written by young musicians from the Cincinnati Symphony’s Youth Orchestra and Nouveau programs, written over the last six weeks. For many of these students, this is their very first world premiere performance, and we invite you to witness this monumental occasion. You’ll also take part in From Scratch’s signature experimental live-group workshop. Audience members will learn principles of music notation and engage with a new piece to be interpreted on the spot, creating a uniquely personal and empowering connection to contemporary music.
