Join us in the Cincinnati Public Library’s atrium on Sunday, May 24th at 2pm, for the 2026 edition of Cincinnati, From Scratch.

At this event, you’ll hear the world premieres of eight works written by young musicians from the Cincinnati Symphony’s Youth Orchestra and Nouveau programs, written over the last year. For many of these students, this is their very first world premiere performance, and we invite you to witness this monumental occasion. You’ll also take part in From Scratch’s signature experimental live-group workshop, this year contributing to an on-the-spot audio installation called "Impression", which will fill the library with a mosaic of voices as this year's hands-on work for everyone to help create new art.
